This program is a Canadian Red Cross course and WSIB approved.
This course involve an online course + classroom training. The online course will be sent to you upon registration and it must be completed before the classroom session.
When you register for the training above, you are selecting the date, time and location for your classroom training. Please make sure you are providing yourself enough time to complete the online course beforehand as our standard rescheduling policy applies in the case that you need to postpone due to online course incompletion. Please call or email us immediately if you need to reschedule your classroom training as you will not be able to attend the class if you have an incomplete online course.
The online course for this program takes roughly 4-8 hours to complete, however extra time may be needed to setup your account.

Toronto First Aid is proud to offer the Standard First Aid & CPR Blended Learning program, certified by the Canadian Red Cross. This course is ideal for those with busy schedules, allowing participants to complete the online theory portion at their own pace before attending an in-person skills session to apply their learning in a hands-on environment.
The course covers the prevention, recognition, and treatment of life-threatening emergencies and provides comprehensive training in first aid and CPR skills. Topics include:
- Initial assessment and emergency scene management
- Preventing disease transmission
- Rescue breathing and choking
- Major bleeding, shock, and unconsciousness
- Injuries caused by heat, cold, or poisons
- Bone, muscle, and joint injuries
- Head, neck, and spinal injuries
- Medical emergencies (e.g. diabetic, seizures, allergic reactions)
- CPR-C and AED use
After completing the online portion, participants will receive a proof of completion certificate, which must be presented at the in-person training. Upon successful completion of both components, participants will receive a 3-year certification in Standard First Aid & CPR-C, valid across Canada and meeting provincial/territorial workplace safety requirements.
