Recertifications
Some of our courses are offered as recertifications. First Aid Recertifications are required on a regular basis. Students who participate in CPR/AED or First Aid Recertification must have taken the full course within the last 3 years.
Students must bring their previous certification card to be able to prove that they have taken the class previously.
Recertification is typically a refresher course to make you aware of the changes and updates on standards by the Canadian Red Cross. CPR recertification is usually required or recommended every two to three years, however some professions require annual training. To confirm how often you should recertify, contact your employer or work place to determine their requirements.
If you need to recertify your first aid or CPR, you can find all available classes online on our Red Cross Classes page or feel free to contact us at 416-524-6083 to register for a course today.
